Amber - Owner/ Dog walker

Hi, Im Amber, the owner and founder of Ambers Rambles.

I started Ambers Rambles in 2023 out of my lifelong passion for animals and my dream of turning something I love into a career. Ive always had a huge love for dogs, have grown up around them and have always owned dogs of my own. 

My experience with dogs started at a young age. When I was just 15 I spent my summer holidays working in a dog groomers which gave me my first real experience of working with dogs and learning about their individual personalities, behaviour and care.

At 19, I returned to working in the groomers alongside running Ambers Rambles, and then again at 22, when I went back on Sundays to fill my weekends and continue doing something Ive always enjoyed.

A huge part of why I care so deeply about animals come down to my own dog, Willow. I bought Willow when I was 20, and she very quickly became my entire world. She has taught me so much about the bond between a person and their dog and about how important is it for our pets to feel safe, understood, loved and cared for.

Because of Willow, I genuinely understand how much trust is involved when you leave your pet in somebody else's care. I know that if I'm trusting someone with willow, I want to know they will treat her exactly as I would.

That is the same standard I hold myself to with every animal I care for.

I want every pet I look after to receive the same patience, kindness, attention and love I would want for my own. Whether they are confident, nervous, excitable, reactive, independent or just a little but quirky, I believe every animal deserves to be understood for who they are.

Outside of work, I'm very much a family and friends kind of person. I love spending time with people closest to me, going out for dinner and of course shopping.

You'll also usually find me in the gym in the evenings. I really enjoy keeping active and making time for myself and I also really enjoy pilates and yoga.

At the end of the day, animals aren't just my job. they have always been a huge part of my life and I feel incredibly lucky that I get to spend my days caring for them.

Hi im Kate, 

I joined Ambers Rambles in April 2026 and since then i've loved getting to know so many wonderful dogs and their owners.

I have always had a huge love and passion for animals, and I think that really shows when i'm around them. Im the proud owner of four dogs, including 2 working breeds which were trained by myself. Having dogs with very different personalities and needs has given me lots of hands on experience and a real understanding of how important patience consistency and communication are when caring for dogs. 

Alongside dog walking, i'm also a mummy to my little girl and a wife, as well as running my own dog grooming business. Being involved in different areas of the pet industry means animals are a huge part of my everyday life both personally and professionally.

Since joining Ambers Rambles, i've been lucky enough to build some lovely relationships with both the dogs and their owners. It has been so rewarding seeing the dogs get excited to see me, and i've been incredibly grateful to receive multiple 5 star reviews from customers.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, having days out, baking and cooking and just making the most out of life with my husband and daughter. I also love taking my own dogs out for walks, exploring new places and going on little adventures together.

I feel very lucky to be able to spend so much of my life surrounded by animals, and i'm really excited to continue getting to know even more of the wonderful pets I have the pleasure of caring for.
